Meet Phil
I attend the Northern Beaches Christian Reformed Church in Dee Why and have been involved in various church ministries for most of my adult life. This includes missionary programs in Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands as well as summer holiday programs with Aboriginal communities in Northern NSW. I have spent most of my working years in the “Payment card” industry, predominately in Sales and Marketing roles.
Until recently I have had my Sister who is Downs Syndrome living with my family. A change in her circumstances has allowed me time to take on this exciting role in Scripture at Cromer Campus. I currently also assist with Scripture at the Dee Why Primary School. I have a great love for all sports and currently play golf, touch football, and have an occasional surf. I hope to be able to share some of my work and faith life (and maybe sport!) experience with others at Cromer Campus.
Meet Jessica
I moved to the northern beaches early 2023 to start a youth internship at H30 Church in Narraweena. Prior to this I spent a year down in Philip Island (VIC) participating in Christian Surfers leadership training (CSALT). I am now studying a Bachelor of Ministry at Morling College.
I love seeing young people come to understand their identity in Christ and inviting them into having a relationship with Jesus. I am pretty much up for any sort of adventure, love the ocean, surfing and being with people. I feel honoured and super excited to have the opportunity to be a scripture helper/teacher at Cromer Campus
